This is a hard hitting song that tells the story of a man that's lost the love of his life too early. It starts off that he's really bitter and depressed but by the end of the song he comes to terms with the loss, and decides to live on happy, although he will 'Always Remember' her.
lyrics
Stare towards the background of the hall,
You'll Find me,
Behind all the people standing tall,
You'll find me,
And I don't know what I've become since I lost you,
I don't know what I am going to do
I hope your somewhere listening I hope you see just how much you meant to me
But When I saw you fall down, I felt the world go to sleep,
And everything you did for me in my heart I'll always keep
It's hard to say goodbye, when I don't know how to say
Thank you for teaching me the three words we used to say
Meet me on that bench we used to meet,
you'll find me,
Or that spot underneath that apple tree,
You'll see me, you'll feel me
They say life wont be the same now I've lost you,
But I believe your here with me
When I saw you fall down, I felt the world go to sleep,
And everything you did for me in my heart I'll always keep
It's hard to say goodbye, when I don't know how to say
Thank you for teaching me the meaning of the three words we used to say
And I loved you
And I still love you
But it's time to move on
But I won't forget your face,
I won't forget your smile,
I won't let you down,
No I won't live in denial,
It's hard to say goodbye,
When I don't know how to say,
Thankyou for teaching me the three words we used to say
Over the last few years I have developed a love for songwriting and have used it as an area to express myself. I hope you enjoy it and if you can relate to them in any way then that would be an incredible bonus!
